Guidelines for micro research

February 2019 onwards we are looking forward for micro research done by the student, which will be published in the blog.

What is a micro research?

Research is the process of search information to have a deeper understanding. The aim of micro research is to encourage you to seek useful information regarding the the food production related topics.

How should it be done?

You may source information regarding a particular topic from a book or website. Gather the important information. Compile the information.

How to select a topic?

You can choose to take up any aspect related to food production, such as base ingredients (Sauces, masalas, raw materials), cuisine & speciality. The dishes published in the food calendar can also be the topic of selection.

How to prevent plagiarism?

Plagiarism is defined as the practice of taking someone else’s work or ideas and passing them off as one’s own. This can be prevented by mentioning the source of the information that you have acquired as reference.
